Sec 23-535. Splitting of fees prohibited

No employment agent or employee or agent thereof shall divide or offer to divide, or share directly or indirectly, a fee, charge or compensation received from an applicant for employment with an employer, superintendent, manager, foreman or any other person who hires help or to whom help is furnished by an employment agent. It is unlawful for any employer, superintendent, manager, foreman or any other person who hires help to receive any compensation or valuable consideration from an applicant for employment or from an employment agent for giving employment to the applicant or to an employee furnished by an employment agent.
