Sec 42-13253. Notice of equalization order

On determining that an equalization order is necessary, the department shall:

1. Notify the assessor of any county that is affected by the order.

2. At the same time notify by certified mail the governor, the president of the senate and the speaker of the house of representatives including the reasons that necessitated the order.
